About Ms Mo....

I grew up in England and wanted to be a teacher from a very young age. I went to university in England and Canada and qualified as a teacher with honours. My first teaching post was in Warwickshire in the heart of England. It was a great school but after a few years I grew interested in working overseas. My first overseas post was in Japan which was so exciting. I loved the school, the country and the people! After six years I decided to move on and live in a different part of the world to learn new things. My second overseas post was in Egypt. Cairo was a fascinating place to work and live although I have to say I found Arabic very difficult to learn. I still have many fond memories of Cairo and hope to return again soon.

My third overseas post was in Tanzania. The international school was set up by missionaries wanting a safe place for their children to board while they worked in more dangerous areas. I was appointed as Head of Primary School and later, also, became the Assistant Head of whole school. I enjoyed administration but missed the classroom and the connection you have with students in a homeroom classroom. I still missed Japan and decided ro return. I have been teaching at my current international school for over nine years.
