Japan Day!
On October 25, we had...Japan Day! We all dressed up in yukata, kimono, happy coat and lots more. We first did the parade, and there were lots of people! Then, we danced the Bon dance. It made us nervous when lots of people were watching us. Next, we went back to are classroom and a high schooler named Enda taught us how to make a ninja toy, and some weapons. Afterwards, we had a lion dance called shishimai. I,[Nicole] first did a presentation about it. Then the kindergardeners started to cry because it was scary. It was a man who was putting a lion mask and a costume on. He was really good. After the dance, we had a Japanese traditional lunch. It was delicious. Finally, we, 4th graders demonstrated the Bon dance to the MS/HS. Some people tried out the Bon dance too.

Ms.Mo's Birthday!
On November 10th,it was Ms.Mo's birthday! Have a great year!
Rice Drive
This month, November, rice drive has started! We earn money to buy rice. For an example, help your parents by doing their house work. Our total goal is at least 200 kg. We hope you could earn rice and help the poor people.
Epitaphs
For epitaphs, we wrote a name of a person who passed away. We wrote it on a fake paper tomb stone, for example, Ella Vader [elevator] ,Mona Lott [moan a lot] and Sue Perman [Superman].
Palindromes
In our math book, we studied about palindromes. Palindromes are things you could read back and forth. We did TONS of addition. WE think the hardest one is 89. It has more than 10 steps. With our palindromes patterns, we wrote out our pattern from our math vocabulary.
Brain Write
We finished our brain write we wrote in pen. We displayed on the wall down the hallway. We got nervous when we wrote it in pen because it was our first time. Before we wrote it on our good paper, we did a brainstorm and then a draft. It was a really hard work in our life. We learned a lot of things.
Neurons
With paper clay, we made our cool neurons. We made a dendrite, axon, cell body, mylein sheeth, and the axon terminals. To tell people what are neurons, we made a QR code. We made it from Ms.Mo's Footprints.
Prisoners at the Kitchen Table
We finished reading a book called "Prisoners at the Kitchen Table." It's a mystery what happened to Bill and Verna. Every chapter we read, we wrote it in our Prisoners booklet.
Where's Wally?
On Friday, we all dressed up with jeans and red or white. It was because the typhoon came to the Philippines. We all brought in 200 yen for our charity. We were Wally in the Dining Room.
